Stools

Tribal stools and trones made in african artStools must not be considered as utility items only but they are also the expression of the social rank of their owner. Trones for example could be very big and complex in the Bamun and Bamileke art. In Luba culture, we can see caryatid stools. The Lobi on the other hand use very simple stools.
