In African art Mossi, the Biiga also called Biga are objects much appreciated by collectors. They are presented in a slender conical shape with a very stylized appearance on which feminine features such as breasts can be observed.
This type of traditional piece must favor the fertility of its owner. The term biiga means indeed "child". The style of the sagittal headdress is well marked, the patina is remarkable and old.
