Ngbaka-ma'bo knife
Very old throwing knife from the northern Congo DRC region. Primitive art knives are highly regarded for their amazing shapes and are a niche market in the abundant artistic production of Africa.
The blade is here composed of appendages and convolutions. There are also many engraved patterns. The handle is perfectly preserved, composed of a copper cord.
African knife part of an impressive set of several hundred pieces collected over nearly half a century by a Belgian collector and settler in the Congo.
