Igala Elu helmet mask - SOLD OUT
African wooden helmet mask with two sides. It comes from the Igala territory in Nigeria, one only rarely meets helmets called "Elected".
The patina is visibly old. Thin streaks cover the two opposite sides, they represent scarifications and characterize the Igala art, an ethnic group little represented on the market and whose pieces are sold like hot cakes.
