Very nice African Chokwe mask representing the beautiful woman, the ideal of beauty, Mwana Pwo. This African mask is presented on a customised base, with its mouth open, showing finely chiselled teeth, pierced coffee bean eyes and raised eyebrows. The original headdress is made up of a headband and a headdress. The Chokwe mask is covered with a reddish-brown pigment and kaolin remnants. The scarification marks on this mask are of the classical and traditional type.
