The Kulango (or Koulango, Koulango Bouna, Kulango Buna, Kulange, Nkuraeng, Nkurange) are about 150.000 to live in the north of Ivory Coast, near the Ghanaian border, spread among the Senufo, closely related to the Lobi. They are found also in the Comoé national park. They were called "Pakhallas" by the Dioulas and often so designated by the first colonists. Voltaic ethnic group, they little practice the cult of the ancestors and venerate rather many spirits of nature.
