This type of very colorful masks, also known as "Ripolin masks" (they appeared with the arrival of the first paintings brought back by the colonists) are used for many celebrations and are secular masks, that everyone can see . They are made of a female face but are worn by men during dances. Beautiful cracked patina having retained its polychromy.
