Alain Guisson, dealer & collector, Belgium
Alain Guisson (1951-2019) was a renowned collector and dealer of African art based in Brussels. He was specifically recognized as a specialist in South-East and Central Africa. Alain Guisson began collecting in 1968. We know that he worked in the field among the Zulus and the Ndebele in the 1980s and 1990s. He selected objects for the exhibition: "Mangbetu. Afrikaanse hofkunst uit Belgische private-verzamelingen". Brussels, 1992.
