Fon Bocio fetish
Traditional magic and divination
Anthropomorphic African statuette composed of a body coated with a very thick sacrificial patina and rope. These fetishes are called botchio or bocio.
African art objects of this type are fetishes from West Africa. They were and still are today used for voodoo or vodun worship.
The diviner has a fetish made for his client which will solve his problems, protect him or bring down misfortune on an enemy individual.
