This African carpet is an authentic example having been used during Royal dance ceremonies. The result of noble work, which takes one to two years to complete. They are made of raffia. The Mbenge tribe is a sub-ethnic group from the Kuba Kingdom. This African art carpet comes from a family who lived before the First World War in the village of Lambuom.
