Lega Muminia mask
African mask used by the Lega people, who live mainly in the regions of Congo and Uganda.
Traditional Lega masks (formerly known as Warega) are often used in rituals and ceremonies related to Bwami society initiations.
Lega masks are usually carved from wood (sometimes ivory or bone). They often have an elongated and oval shape, with a broad forehead and almond-shaped eyes.
