Classic style in this African mask of Côte d'Ivoire: slightly curved face, convex forehead, almost closed eyes whose circumference is accompanied by white pigment. Ancient rope headdress decorated with cowrie shells. No goatee.
In the Dan, the tribal mask is inhabited by the spirits of the bush.
