Fetishes in traditional African art

In traditional African art, there are many different fetishes whose uses are varied. They can be both beneficial and evil, contrary to the negative idea that many have. They generally relate to the resolution of problems of fertility, bad luck, bad weather or simply relational problems. Fali fetishes are often declined according to the structure of it: a skeleton metal summary on which the witch doctor will come wrap some rope. The owner of the fetish can then carry it with him or perform rites.
