Double royal Kuba Lele cup
Superb African cephalomorph cup composed of two godets. These objects, in the tradition of the Kuba kingdom (Lele group), are containers establishing the prestige and authority of the dignitary who owns them. We find the headdress and many scarifications on the faces. The cup was used to pour palm wine into it during festivities and important events.
