Songye spoon
African spoon with figurative handle of Songye origin. We find on the top of the handle a bust very similar to the nkishi protective fetish statues. The wood has an old, dark look. At the top of the character's head, a brass nail as found on the oldest Songye pieces.
The rim of the bowl is decorated with patterns.
