Luba Minyange rattle
In the corpus of traditional art of the Luba, we know the minyange rattles composed of small superimposed calabashes, themselves surmounted by a head or an entire kneeling figure.
Classically, most often it is a woman, as is the case here. These little rattles were used as part of divination during codified rituals.
