Yaka hair pin - SOLD OUT

Hairpin surmounted by a small typical Yaka head. We find the serene air there, eyes closed but above all the characteristic long and upturned nose also present on the figurines and masks (Kholuka, ...). Our gallery has many pieces of African art from Yaka as well as Suku, a close ethnic group.

This piece was brought back by a Belgian settler in the 1950s.
