African carpet Mbenge, Kasai region Mweka Kuba territory.
This traditional carpet of African art is an authentic copy having been used during royal dance ceremonies. The result of noble work, which takes one to two years to complete. They are made of raffia. The Mbenge tribe is a sub-ethnic group of the Kuba Kingdom.
He comes from a family who lived before the First World War in the village of Lambuom.
