Bandeguele Senoufo horse rider - SOLD OUT
In African art in Ivory Coast and more precisely in Senoufo territory, from a height of 30 to 40 cm, in wood, the great horsemen / equestrian figures are called Bandeguele. They personify the spirits supposed to help the diviners in their consultations.
The horse is always smaller than the characters who ride it. The head conforms to the stylistic principles of the sudoufo zoomorphic masks.
