Baule Moon mask - SOLD OUT

The Goli in African art

In traditional art, the Baoulé have many tribal masks, including the moon or moon mask, their main function is the protection of the person wearing it, especially against witchcraft. But it can also be used for divination or an altar object for which offerings can be made. Nevertheless a little like the Kple Kple Goli masks, they associate the rays of the sun (rim) with the face of the moon.
