Lulua horn

The Bena Lulua are renowned in traditional African art for the production of refined objects ranging from statues to masks through everyday objects such as this remarkable wooden horn. The entire wooden horn is covered with finely chiseled abstract and naturalistic patterns.
This type of instrument was used in royal Luluwa ceremonies or during festivities.
