Lub Katatora oracle
This astonishing figurative wooden ring is an African oracle used by the Luba in the context of divinatory practices. Luba and Songye used such objects called katatora or kashekesheke.
This example is remarkable for the presence of the very well-preserved head sculpted in the style of the famous Shankadi workshop, known as the "cascading headdresses".
