Dogon door - SOLD OUT
Like the pillars, shutters and ladders, in African art, the Dogon also produced doors to granaries or huts. There are most often cosmogonic representations such as Nommo (primordial characters), Kanaga or Sirige dancers, totemic animals such as lizards, crocodiles, snakes.
Beautiful room covered with a very dark patina. The small lock is still present and in good condition.
