This Iginga type figure is identified as Natte Katanda, the fickle woman who does not come home at the end of the day and goes from square to square to see the men. Stylized to perfection, this worn monoxyl wooden statue is repeatedly perforated, arms stretched out to the sky. Small legs carry the figure. The head is classically encrusted with a kaolin patina.
