Beautiful scarifications adorn the abdomen, scarifications that can be found on Luba women as indicated in the attached context photo. The elongated neck carries a head with a dignified and serene face, headdress pulled back. It is detailed and has a cross on the back.
Historically in Luba history, women occupy a preponderant position, which is why sculptors have always given her a central place in their entire corpus, whether they are objects of divination like the Lubuko, the Katatora oracles, cup bearers, or everyday instruments and objects.
