Ashanti maternity figure - SOLD OUT
Pregnant women and mothers with children are a central theme in primitive African art. Here we see a statue of an Ashanti woman sitting on an Akan style stool (Ghana), carrying a child on her legs. This beautiful effigy wears a braided headdress and pearl necklaces.
