This stool shows a kneeling woman, arms spread out supporting a load, with young spiked breasts and traditional belly scarification.

The face of this Luba work has rounded features and lowered eyes, the mouth and nose are idealized of the female Luba beauty, at the back of the head a long braid with fine geometric patterns goes down in an arc to the buttocks.
