Luba Kifwebe mask
€250.00
Round African Luba mask of the Kifwebe type. These traditional masks are a special case of bifwebe because they are circular and half-spherical. This beautiful example presents a broad naso-frontal crest, a beautiful balance and fine striations around the eyes.
The Luba, like the Songye and Kalebwe, practiced the cult of bwadi bwa kifwebe.
